When you run SAS^® 9.4 with UTF-8 session encoding, you can see characters from what looks to be a different language in a tooltip. 

The problem is seen under these conditions:

• You position your pointer over minimized Program Editor or Enhanced Editor windows.
• You point to the View Table icon in the Windows taskbar.

This issue is demonstrated in the image below:

The problem occurs in these circumstances:

• You use 36 characters or more in a program name. 
• You use 27 characters or more in a data set name.

To work around this issue, use shorter names for your SAS programs and data sets.
